Anyway one worktop fitted by 11.00
Just the other three to do now.
And the first one was the smallest

Do you get early epidemics in Banbury? Our flu jabs don't start till October, of course we are a tougher breed up north.

There's a lot of bugs about in this 'ot weather !
Boots started doing their reduced offer ones this week so I got in early to save a couple of quid - and double reward points !!
It takes 3 weeks to be really effective anyway so the earlier I get it done, the sooner I am immune to cruise cough !

Trish had hers yesterday when she called at the surgery for something else. It seems they're ambushing people as they come in where possible so there's less of a rush later.towny44 wrote:Do you get early epidemics in Banbury? On the subject of jabs Towny did you have to have any for your Caribbean trip this year? We've just filled in a form with all the destinations for our 2018 trip and are waiting to hear back.

We did not have any jabs, but we were not going on any shore excursions to densely forested areas or mangrove swamps so we never asked our doctor.

We didn't have a drop of rain at home overnight but places less than 30 miles away were flooded. How weird is that ?

Re: The Children's Off Topic Thread
Thanks. We've heard back form the surgery and they recommend just one which is a single jab (good news as I'm not a fan of having needles stuck in me) which is a triple top up for tetanus, diphtheria and polio. The tetanus bit at least seems useful as we've not had one for years so we'll go with that. And avoid any excursions to the local red light district.qbman1 wrote:We didn't need or have any for the Caribbean last ChristmasMervyn and Trish wrote:Trish had hers yesterday when she called at the surgery for something else. It seems the latest KS is not much interested in cruising. Only one topic. Still he's not managed to raise it on this backwater yet.
