I'm Still Here!!
Haven't been on here for a while and might be a short while again as my laptop is ready for renewing and keeps overheating and goes haywire. Also got a new great granddaughter arrived last week - Liliana-Rose.
However, after reading the post about people not being here after P & O. I first posted on P & O Cruise Connections early 2005 after booking our first cruise which was on the maiden voyage of Arcadia in the April (13th), or maybe towards the end of 2004 as I booked it in about the end of October 2004.
Besides contributing a little on here, but, not having any cruises lately I am not in such a position to reply to cruise specific questions now, I also post on Philip's cruise cruise forum, still talking to Margaret Chapman.
I remember so many from P & O CC and do miss Derek Kane as he was very entertaining even when he was giving an opinion that wasn't shared by many.
Mavis x

I'd been wondering where you were too Mavis, good to hear it is only a poorly computer which kept you away, I had to buy a new laptop a few weeks ago as mine gave up the ghost, I really disliked it at first or should I say I disliked Windows 10 but I'm slowly getting used to it.
Congratulations on the new arrival .. a very pretty name.

Re: I'm Still Here!!
Hi Dai. Yes, it is some years since we met at the Searchers concert. We don't live in Bridlington now, so don't get to any of these shows and concerts now unless our son, David, takes us which is very rare.
Brenda: We used to have some good times on the old P & O site didn't we? Do you remember the panto we did on Adonia site??? We were all crackers but had some laughs. It is a GREAT grand daughter that we have had - Youngest grand daughter of David and Mandy had a little girl, Liliana-Rose. Makes you feel your age, doesn't it? Already have a great grandson who is 8 years old. Pocket money bill keeps going up.... ha ha ha ha
M & T: Your photo doesn't make you look like riff raff, but if you can find the games with the rest of us riff raff you must have joined us since that photo.....
Thanks for all the comments

Re: I'm Still Here!!
I'm afraid I can't agree with you about Derek Kane, Mavis (and am so, so pleased that his repeated and ignorant portrayal of the Hillsborough disaster- and also that of the Sun newspaper - was finally shown to be incorrect and totally without any credence whatsoever last year) but its lovely to see you are still very much here
P.s. Congratulations on your new grand daughter!
