Re: The Children's Off Topic Thread
I was quite surprised to see signs reading 'Caution, Deer in Road' almost in the centre of Watford.

Re: The Children's Off Topic Thread
New Epson AIO printer update.
Its now working well, but it does turn itself off after a certain time and does not automatically start up in a morning when I switch the power socket back on, which is OK but generally means I get a message Epson printer not connected when I try to print.
The Epson equivalent colour cartridges do work, but the Epson software refuses to acknowledge their existence, so the ink levels show as full all the time, which will be bugger when they need changing.
Result, not entirely satisfactory but not too bad.

From my trip to Nottinghamshire on Saturday. This really does have to be the dullest view from a so-called "viewpoint" !

Re: The Children's Off Topic Thread
I do think that electric power pylons are hideous, in fact I think I would prefer HS2 running past my back garden rather than a line of these monstrous pylons. In fact if they were to put power stations near to the HS2 route and bury the cables alongside the rail line as it was built, then I might agree to support HS2.

Didn't realise the HS2 route passed your house Towny. Hard to see how that reduces the London to Birmingham journey time. I can see why people are upset.
