Re: Happy Halloween
Not that time of year again ?, I hate it that much I have considered getting a Rottweiler and tying it up at the bottom of my drive.
Last year my niece posted on Facecloth "So proud of my two boys they have won first and second prize in the Halloween Contest". Well done Julie your kids won prizes worth about £3 each and you must have spent about £80 in Sainsbury's to win it, not a hint of DIY fancy dress.
Love your new profile piccy though Sue.

Re: Happy Halloween
I must admit I'm reluctant to answer the door on Hallowe'en as some children do not seem satisfied with the gift of sweets - they want money. Someone in our village got real abuse from a group of older children when she offered sweets. What does everyone do as regards Carol Singers? These days all we seem to get is one verse of "We wish you a Merry Christmas" and for that they expect money. I'm not sure I'll answer the door this year unless I get at least one verse of a proper Carol - sorry Mods a bit off topic!

We don't tend to get any of the little sh*ts beggars darlings knocking these days.
I put the car in the garage early just in case though and turn the outside light off to show we aren't interested. It usually does the trick, but that's not to say the fully charged cattle prod is never far away along with my German shepherd bark recoding
