Harlequin ladybirds

Noticed hundreds of ladybirds decending on our house yesterday which l thought pretty unusual considering the time of the year? Anyway l mentioned this to my daughter who, having heard a discription of them said they were Harlequin ladybirds which, apparently are swarming across the country having a disastrous effect on our native ladybirds. Not a threat to life or limb but if they are allowed to set up residence in your home, they do apparently have quite a nasty smell about them.

If l can find some more useless information l'll post it tomorro .

My mother in-laws house was infested with them over the summer as were her neighbours, and still has them, but not in so many numbers.

Hi Ray...

From what l've heard Stephen gets a big frill when thinking about me dressed in a cassock singing "ba ba black sheep" (would you like some fun). ...so with this in mind if he ever asks you what folk singers wear?...don't go there...you'll live to regret it for sure

P.s My wife and daughter are into their folk music. Our daughter plays the accordion and was delighted when she was invited to record 'Robins Waltz' for an Irish folk band called 'Real Note a few years back.
