I've just been watching it too Gill - I love the expression on the boxer's face - another winner from John Lewis

Some of the ads are better entertainment than the programmes they interrupt Gill.

I rarely see ads unless I watch live sport, and they don't seem to show Christmas ads, most of our TV viewing is now from our Sky+ PVR where we fast forward through the ads.

I dread to think what the Christmas "money supermarket" advert will look like... it's probably just me but l find their adds quite repulsive.

Just watched it - fantastic! I see John Lewis now have a range of Buster products for sale - not slow are they! I'm sure this ad will be a winner.

I wonder which came first the Guardian article or the Hillary and Donald spoof advert, mind you since Guardian columnists rarely possess any original thoughts, my guess is the spoof advert.

The Waitrose Christmas Ad is gorgeous about a robin flying 'home'. I wish I knew how to add it to this post but I'm sure one of our computer experts will sort it out. Its called Coming Home. Anyone with a Waitrose card will probably receive as an e-mail from myWaitrose.

I've just noticed there is a note saying #HomeForChristmas so not sure if that would take you to the ad.

I really do need to learn how to add attachments !!!
