Wonderful. To be honest the ship didn't do it for us but we had a good laugh with the tour guide and others in our group.

Interesting. She didn't grab us on our first cruise aboard her but grew considerably on a later trip dictated by itinerary.

Rabbits taken the autumn off and brought in a squad of rats to carry on the devastation at the allotment

Put some rat poison down might kill off the wabbits as well.

But that would also kill off the red kites that have recently moved into the area. We have 4 traps out - sending Mrs C up later to check on the haul

Rat update. 2 of the biggest fat rats you ever did see caught in the traps in the brussel patch. At least I've educated Terry Walton and Rob, the winner of the Big Allotment Challenge (my new best Twitter friends!) - they had never heard of rats eating brussels before

Rats will eat anything and everything, they were partial to jaffa cakes from the FIL's newsagent and sweetie shop. One would grab the packet in all fours and the others would pull him down their hole by his tail.

Sling the dead rats to one side as you trap them and let the live ones feed on the corpses. Problemo solved.

With all this wildlife around your house and allotment Cubie, perhaps you should consider replacing Sir David Attenborough when/if he ever retires.

Triple injection this morning ahead of our Caribbean trip. Turns out I've not have a tetanus booster since 1991. Also advised not to sleep with the locals on any trips ashore.

Very depressing weather we have today, continuous rain so far, which is doing nothing to alleviate my depressed state following another away defeat by my footy team.
