Cummerbunds

Unread post by suespud »

Having been so long since we have cruised, I thought I had better ask if the men still wear cummerbunds.
Alex has a few and liked to wear them ( to hold his belly in I think..lol) but not sure if it's the done thing now.
Four weeks tomorrow, till we fly :o :o :o so excited :D

They certainly are worn Sue.

I don't wear one myself. I find then too restricting when eating my breakfast.

Some do, some don't. No problem one way or the other

My husband doesn't wear one, but some do. Whatever he feels comfortable with.

I never wear one because I don't need to hide my tummy (yet) :relaxed:

I wear one but only on formal nights because it looks a bit out of place with swimming trunks. To be correct, it should be worn with the pleat openings facing upwards to catch any dropped food. It saves going for the midnight snacks.
Nostalgia ain't what it used to be.

Himself still wears one of these - and I think that on the relevant occasions he always will.

Meanwhile, enjoy your pre-cruise preparation, and have a really great time.
