Anyone else getting fed up with left wing luvvies preaching to the rest of us about Trump, Brexit, the government or anything else they think we need brainwashing on. The latest is Ken Loach who spoke so passionately about our heartless government on the issue of immigration and was scathing about the rich and powerful. Excuse me Mr Loach, did you not look around the hall last night and recognise your jewel bedecked colleagues in their designer dresses enjoying a night out from their luxury villas, many of whom have moved offshore and don't pay a penny into the British economy. Or is it a case of 'I don't think they mean me'.
Rant over................................ and my team lost again!!!
I do hope Leicester get back to winning ways soon, then maybe Foxy will realise that these boring Luvvie's spoutings will have as much effect as a f**t in a hurricane.

I totally agree with you.
I never watch these award programmes, all tthey do is pat each other on the back and say how wonderful they are! That's up to the audience to decide.
When they start to let these immigrants live with them, then I just might listen to them but unlikely :sarcasm:

Is there any other industry like the entertainment industry for self-agrandisement. They have Oscars, Baftas, Tony's, emmys, Grammies to name but a few and I totally agree with the above posts. They sometimes have one or two of these so called celebrities on Question Time and for me they ruin an already fading programme.

He's not got over us rising up over his government's handling of the economy!

Plus if he hadn't interfered in the Middle East we might not have the immigration crisis that played a big part in the Brexit vote.

This makes more sense:

"Boris Johnson urges people to 'rise up' and turn off the TV when Tony Blair speaks"

What we really need is to hear him say, "I'm so committed to the EU that if the UK leaves I'll go and live elsewhere in Europe".

That works for me

Blair said that the leavers voted "without Knowledge? Well if that is true the same must be said about the remainers, cos in truth there was no 'like for like' template on which politicians/voters would have the knowledge to know how our leaving the EU will eventually pan out. The decision has been made to leave the EU and the democratic will of the people must be upheld... less of course you follow the words of a man who must have spent considerable amounts of time repenting at his local "Oops! I did it again" confessional box.....No one is under any illusion that we have rocky times ahead but l honestly believe we have in Theresa May a prime minister who can steer us to a better future, a future where we stand proud in a global world and not as it is now where we have to stoop to the beck and call of that inward thinking, self serving European club.

The sooner Blair & co realise that we are all in this together the sooner our great country can start making plans for a better future.

God save the Queen :)

I wonder what effect the likes of Bliar, Krankie, Tiny Tim and the rest of the deluded activists who are so determined to disrupt Brexit have on business confidence and the stability of the pound. Thankfully Theresa May is standing firm but until UK shows a united front our bargaining position will be weakened.
This chap pulls no punches!!! Extreme but there's a lot of truth in what he says.

On a different topic, much as I preferred Trump to Hilary I have to admit to some serious second thoughts about quite a bit of the Donald's ramblings.
I agree that most of the media is biased, that's because it is virtually impossible for any commentator to remain objective in today's divisive politics, and most do seem to have a liberal view of life far removed from that of Trump. But he needs to man up and take their comments on the chin, and not perpetually bleat on about them telling lies and conspiring against him.
And his unverified, untrue and misunderstood comments about anything and everything, eg his comments about Sweden, will just lead to further ridicule.
If he really want to p*ss off the press he should stay shtumm for the next month and keep away from all social media.

Hi Foxy...from my observation they are all in need of psychiatric help...Tiny Tim is trying to look important whilst trying to salvage something from his sinking ship (party). Then you have Blair thinking he is the next messiah spouting...”rise up, rise up ye people I will show you the way” with of course Junker writing his script. As for Krankie I do have a little bit of sympathy for her as she suffers from tunnel vision and has a compulsive independence disorder.

For years I have looked at Blair and asked myself "are you the antichrist?"

He needs to be taken away and put out of our misery.

And his unverified, untrue and misunderstood comments about anything and everything, eg his comments about Sweden
I am uncertain about the situation in Sweden. Last year I met some Swedish friends who were telling me of their concerns about the impact immigration was having on their country and how it was slowly changing their culture so I tend to think Trump may not be wholly untruthful even if he is pretty reckless. As a statesman he needs to check his facts first before opening his mouth, although diplomatically it's never a good idea to show somebody else's dirty washing in public.

Onelife, as usual, seems to have diagnosed the three musketeers beautifully.

Blair said that the leavers voted "without Knowledge?
In that case, do we think he also believes that those who voted for him in 1997 and thereafter did so "without knowledge" of Iraq, his immigration policy, his enthusiasm for the euro?
