Re: Current Affairs
Like I said, Jack, try giving it a chance. We're leaving, that was the majority decision. Had it gone the other way with the same margin, I would have accepted it. Why can't you?

Re: Current Affairs
I have just wasted 5 minutes of my life reading that left wing, nationalistic drivel. Clearly some people believe this nonsense.

Re: Current Affairs
I might've been unhappy - indeed, I would've been very unhappy with the result but I would've respected the democratic decision to stay. I am not terribly interested in what Mr Farage would, or would not do.Jack Staff wrote: 16 Mar 2017, 15:32You might of, but Nigel wouldn't......Silver_Shiney wrote: 16 Mar 2017, 15:24Like I said, Jack, try giving it a chance. Re: Current Affairs
Nice collection of old news there Jack but like many, you make assumptions.
As a Brexiter I take exception to being linked to fascism, racism, xenophobia and any other derogatory term used by paranoid Remoaners who claim to accept Brexit but want the terms of any deal to maintain the status quo and find difficulty in understanding we are leaving the EU but not Europe.
What makes you think I am a reader of the Express, the Sun or any other paper for that matter, when in fact I am perfectly capable of thinking for myself? I don't rely on the crutch of a daily paper for my philosophy but then Remoaners also have it in their minds that anybody who voted for Brexit didn't know what they were voting for and were thick. I think they need to take off their rose tinted EU glasses and smell the coffee because from where we stand the EU has done nothing for us which accounts for why people voted in their millions to leave.

Post Brexit we could possibly be building .... and then buying Nissans, Toyotas and Lexus instead of those foreign Peugeots and BMWs.

Facts are facts. Age is of no consequence, unless some want to forget them. We all make assumptions.oldbluefox wrote: 16 Mar 2017, 16:25Nice collection of old news there Jack but like many, you make assumptions.
I wasn't aware you had been linked to actual, technical terms. They are only derogatory if they upset you for some reason.oldbluefox wrote: 16 Mar 2017, 16:25As a Brexiter I take exception to being linked to fascism, racism, xenophobia and any other derogatory term used by paranoid Remoaners
Are you assuming I am paranoid?
Are you assuming I accept Brexit? I can only assume you don't read my posts.oldbluefox wrote: 16 Mar 2017, 16:25who claim to accept Brexit but want the terms of any deal to maintain the status quo and find difficulty in understanding we are leaving the EU but not Europe.
Those papers were seen as the cheerleaders of Brexiters. I have no idea where you get your information. I often provide links, should you wish to check info I provide.oldbluefox wrote: 16 Mar 2017, 16:25What makes you think I am a reader of the Express, the Sun or any other paper for that matter, when in fact I am perfectly capable of thinking for myself? For once I have found some ground on which to agree with you Jack.
"Facts are facts". Fact is we voted to exit the EU. Says it all really.

Can't disagree. Whether we do actually leave or not we will not know for certain for over two years yet.oldbluefox wrote: 16 Mar 2017, 17:32For once I have found some ground on which to agree with you Jack.

I think David Davis MP can explain better than me.....
“If a democracy cannot change its mind, it ceases to be a democracy”.
But being a Tory he has of course gone back on that.
