I watched Mrs Krankie today and if her face is anything to go by she'll be signing off sick in the not to distant future...she looked all washed out to me.

If Scotland want independence, let them have it. No problem at all, providing they don't expect England to continue subsidising them.

Whilst l don't profess to understand all the implications of what an independent Scotland would have on the rest of the uk. l would have grave concerns about what would happen about our Nuclear deterrent (trident) which is based in them yonder hills of Scotland. It would take billions if not trillions to relocate this facility to somewhere in the uk.and millions in payments to an independent country if we were allowed to stay.

I see that Juncker is again spouting about punishing the UK for leaving the EU, so that it acts as a deterrent to any other country which might want to leave.
Isn't that the sort of thinking that inner city gangs use to keep their members in line?

It's certainly not how democracy works and conforms why we're right to get out

Don't you just love the money market! :sarcasm: First they drive the pound down because of Brexit, then as the weak pound, because of their actions, impacts on the cost of living, inflation rises so they drive the pound higher as that might mean interest rates will rise. :? :sarcasm:
If I were chancellor I would impose 150% tax levies on anyone making more than a minor commission out of currency transactions.

Is anybody sorry Martin McGuines is Dead.? I for one arnt, I hope it was a painful end for him, long may he rot in hell..!!!

I see Blair was quite full of praise for him but that speaks volumes for him.

If anyone doesnt like my comments, Tough, i served 3 tours of N.Ireland in the early seventies, i have earned the right to comment on this evil thing. And the sooner his mate Adams joins him the better..

It's sad when anyone dies, Screwy, and I am sorry for his family. I am convinced that McGuiness has blood in his hands though, even if he didn't pull the trigger himself. Has he ever shown remorse for his role as a leader of a terrorist organisation?

What concerns me about McGuiness, and similar others, is that the leftist luvvies consider that his apparent Damascene conversion atones for all his past sins. However in the case of a Nazi prison guard simply obeying orders in fear for his own life, or an historic sex abuser even with no recent transgression, the full force of the law would descend upon them and they would be found guilty by the media even before their trial, no matter how old and frail they have become.

When I was in the RAF, one of the bases I was stationed at had a large, remote grass area at the back where a local civilian dog handler was allowed to access to let his dog have a run, and we were told not to stop him as he approached the main gate but let him straight through.

He was the spitting image of Adams...

I have no particular feelings for Martin McGuinness but I choose to believe that he played a huge part in the peace talks, without his involvement and persuasive powers .... well, who knows what the outcome would have been.

At the end of the day he and many others were a product of British brutality. Visit Kilmainham Jail in Dublin .... for a little balance ?

We're planning on going to the Visitor's Gallery in the Commons on Monday. I hope we still can - wouldn't want these evil gits to think they'd cowed the great British public by their vile acts
