Is that just to keep you out or so they can't see what you get up to behind the shed ?
Keep me in more like.
And it's a log cabin, albeit tongue and groove, as the actress said to the Bishop.

I've got to drop off a couple of sheets of asbestos at the tip on the way in tomorrow. Now, I know asbestos is dangerous stuff but these are two cement-bonded sheets which are as safe as can be expected unless they are damaged. I can't believe the lengths I have to go to to drop them off at the recycling centre.

First, make an appointment at least 24 hours in advance, double-wrap them in 1000 gauge polythene completely sealed up with tape. Then I have to produce proof of residency in the form of a utility bill and none of the blokes at the site are allowed to handle the stuff (double-wrapped and sealed, remember).

Is this taking elf 'n safety just a little bit far ?

Which tip did you take them to? My elderly neighbour has ten and has asked if I could get rid of them for her.

Ardley take them and they have plenty of space as the skip went off to Swindon to be emptied this week. Give them a call - 01869 343459

Is it just me, or does anyone else have a Victor Meldrew moment when Steph McGovern on BBC Breakfast insists on pronouncing Stoke on Trent as "Stork" ?!
