Absolutely agree - a very remarkable lady and one who we have been very lucky to have on the throne. For the majority of us she's the only monarch we've ever known.

I agree Carole, and being without her is unthinkable.CaroleF wrote: 21 Apr 2017, 09:54Absolutely agree - a very remarkable lady and one who we have been very lucky to have on the throne. For the majority of us she's the only monarch we've ever known.

Oh come on Wolfie my highlight of the day is watching The Daily Politics and seeing some of our MP's looking like startled rabbits as Andrew Neil and Jo Coburn ask them questions to which they either haven't a clue or are just about bright enough to spot that it might be banana skin.
The best comedy show on TV.

I'd start packing for the tower if I were you Keith. Once she goes down with an upset stomach after eating your out of date off the back of a lorry chocs there'll be a couple of heavies from beefeater lodge banging on your door. And they won't be there to hand out meal vouchers eitherOnelife wrote: 21 Apr 2017, 12:33What l can tell you is that Lilibet was over the moon on receiving a box of keefys finest.....l definitely got the stamp of royal approvel for this one:thumbup:![]()

Interesting that Sky News showed the firing of the gun salute from Hyde Park. So some recognition of Her Majesty's birthday, though not on the BBC.

OK then, I'll give it a try but if it's daytime TV, then we don't do that!
What channel and when?? I do like Andrew Neil when he gets the bit between his teeth.

Our national television station, which we all have to subscribe to, is a disgrace. It will be interesting to see what mention is made of St George's Day.

Hey Stephen....did l ever tell you about the time me and Lilibet got together one sunny afternoon? Oh yes, l was competing at a dog agility competition (l think it was at Clumber Park). Her Majesty and her entourage were ringside whilst l was performing with my dog (best not go there Stephen) Not a great round of agility if l remember correctly but l put this down to me wanting to bow my head every time l went past her...Oh' and before you start calling me a creep l didn't stoop as low as what you did when you kept trying to polish Carol Marlow's shoes on our last visit aboard Adonia.
Speaking to Mob afterwards he said it was the most cringe worthy thing he had ever witnessed....ain't that right Moby?
