Sir Roger Moore

Unread post by qbman1 »

Sad to hear that Roger Moore has died in Switzerland "after a short battle with cancer"

Shame - he was the best Bond by far

It's very sad, but at least the battle didn't drag on. I can remember him as he used to be.

Real shame. Though as they say he had a good innings. And my favourite Bond was Connery, with Sir Roger a close second. Loved the Saint too.

A great shame, he came a very close second to Sean Connery as my favourite Bond (s)

I saw a photo of him a few weeks ago and he looked very old and haggard, I had no idea he was ill.
RIP

Sad to think James Bond has died, though for me nobody was as good as Daniel Craig.
RIP.

Yes. I's always said Sean Connery was my favourite - until Daniel Craig came along. For me, he epitomised Bond. So now Sean Connery slips into second place.

Just can't see the attraction of Daniel Craig at all! I liked Pierce Brosnan along with Roger Moore. I liked the humour Roger Moore brought to the role. It's difficult comparing them all. Sean Connery was in a time without all the dangerous stunts that occur now. From everything I've read about Roger Moore he seems to have been a really lovely man and did a lot of work for UNICEF.
