I've managed to avoid all the debates so far. And Jezzer is not offering me anything with one hand that he's not going to take away twice with the other.

I think that watching the election results this time is likely to be more stressful and packed with more tension than watching the championship play off final.
I just hope I am wrong and that the entire BBC presenting team are totally gobsmacked as Labour lose seat after seat and Theresa storms through them like Boadacia in her chariot.

Tune into Moorlands Radio Towny. I'll be there doing my Jeremy Vine impression (though not his cha cha) with my mate doing his David Dimbleby. But to be honest I don't think you need to listen beyond 5 past 10. We'll be starting with the exit poll and for the last two elections that's been spot on.

One today puts them 11 ahead. They're all over the place. Average of the last few gives them 22 majority. But last election and Brexit they were miles out. Only one poll that counts.

Diane Abbott is doing her best to persuade us all to vote for anybody but Labour. Yet another car crash moment to keep us all amused.

It seems that poor old Diane is feeling poorly again so is unable to be interviewed or to participate in the election chats on the doorstep etc.

A full recovery is predicted for Friday .... hic

Aw, bless her. Let's hope, for her sake, that she gets voted out then she will have plenty of time to recuperate !

It does raise the question that if Diane is the best choice for Shadow Home Sec, who would be the second choice if she wasn't available?

I shall be waiting for the Exit Poll tomorrow evening with baited breath and fingers crossed that the British public will not be tempted by all the wonderful things that Corbyn promises. My husband reminded me that before the American election I said that I couldn't believe the American public could be so stupid as to elect Trump as President. I was wrong - I'm not going to say it about our election - just can't bear the thought of what would happen to this country.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if we end up with more or less the same Conservative majority we had before this election. That will have made it all really worthwhile then !!

I trust the basic instincts of the general population, some are fools or are simply misguided / misinformed but the majority have their feet on the ground. They do not approve of extremists of any colour and they also have common sense ... TM will, I predict, get a significant majority.

Just watched the buffoon who runs the poll that predicts a Tory one point lead resulting in a hung parliament, on Daily Politics.
It appears he is assuming a massive youth turnout to produce his result, of course as Andrew Neil pointed out, most of the extra youth vote will be in already safe Labour seats.
Anyway only 31 hours until we get the exit polls.
