Nor me, but it would be a good idea!Meg 50 wrote: 07 Jun 2017, 18:38Wow - never seen that on any cruise we've been on!Ranchi wrote: 07 Jun 2017, 15:38One thing I did miss this year was the platter at the entrance to MDR that showed you which desserts were being served that evening. We used to find that really helpful as sometimes a great slab of Apple pie isn't what you want ( other times it's ideal!)

We got the same first e-mail but no subsequent apology that it was wrong, I wonder if they would allow to me to buy a future cruise credit? Then again we only sail from Southampton and don't fancy any of the Princess itineraries, so why bother?Kenmo1 wrote: 07 Jun 2017, 18:28We had the same Welcome Home e-mail with the offer of some OBC, although we haven't cruised with them for about 2 years. I even found myself checking out some of their offers only to get the 2nd email saying the letter wasn't for us and the OBC was only intended for cruisers who had just returned home and were thinking of making another booking.London Cruiser wrote: 07 Jun 2017, 17:49Carnival IT systems down again, had a Welcome home email from Princess Cruises ( which I thought was strange as I had been on P and O )followed by one three hours later apologising as it wasnt meant for me, My TA has just rung as I`m trying to get a price for a future cruise and their booking system is down , from about 12pm today and still not up and running!
Carnival really do need to get their act together.

Nor us. But then we've only cruised 4 lines and 392 nights. Not enough to be a connoisseur of course. I leave that to others.Meg 50 wrote: 07 Jun 2017, 18:38Wow - never seen that on any cruise we've been on!Ranchi wrote: 07 Jun 2017, 15:38One thing I did miss this year was the platter at the entrance to MDR that showed you which desserts were being served that evening. They were certainly on show by the entrance to the Oriental restaurant on Oriana last month.

I also had an email from Princess welcoming me home from my cruise and offering me a good deal if I booked another cruise by a specific date - I've never been on a Princess Cruise! I too got another email the next day apologising for the first email which was sent in error!
One thing we have noticed about the desserts on P&O - they vary from ship to ship or perhaps from chef to chef. We were on Aurora last December and the new Sundaes were on the menu. They were excellent and my husband particularly enjoyed them. Then we were on Ventura in January and the same Sundaes were very poor. They had too much liquid or sauce in them and the sundae glass was, in some cases, only half full. So maybe P&O need to ensure that the chefs are producing the same dessert on all ships. We did mention in our feedback that we found the new desserts were not as good as those on Aurora.
