We all know that if McDonnell gets his wish the Anarchists and the great unwashed will take over and cause mayhem. If this happens and the unruly mob cause damage, injury etc then McDonnell should be held accountable. What a horrible person he is.
Unortunately Labour doesn't understand the rule of Democrasy and yes Carol, this is what our Country is coming to.

Further proof of how unsuitable Corbyn and his cronies are for power.

And if people are hurt in this will they then bleat about it being the fault of austerity?

And if police resources are stretched, by austerity or any other factor, will policing this demo be a good use of their time?

One of the things which was a constant worry to me when I was a Project Manager was whether something we did, or failed to do, was a potential cause of death or injury. Everyone has a duty of care to anyone else who may be affected by their "acts or omissions". I was frequently called an " old woman ", or worse for being ultra careful, but it tends to make you think more carefully when you see situations like this. Poor people, ytrapped on upper floors waiting for death, reminiscent of 9/11. One can only hope that the toxic CO laden smoke put them out of their misery with a minimum of physical pain. Their living relatives are going to be tormented with the images for a long time.

Tis a tad ironic that this fire was probably a consequence of setting unachievable GREEN targets ... in this instance to reduce energy costs / usage.

It's an example of what I call Knee Jerk Science.

Let's all get diesel cars and save polar bears. Oh ooops now we're killing children.

Let's slap cladding on tower blocks and save some more polar bears - and look again, dreadful consequences no-one paused to consider.

A trivial example by comparison - let's put more efficient hand driers in public toilets to save more polar bears - and now we're getting reports of hearing problems because the things are noisier than 737s.

And how long before we hit the problem of what to do with all the life expired toxic lithium car batteries?

Let's close coal fired power stations - and now we're de-foresting Canada. And let's do it before we've developed and tested viable alternatives.

It's all poor knee jerk science.

I see that "rent a mob" have now taken on this cause.

CouldI be accused of cynicism by saying that it is politically motivated?

Probably by accountants who were more concerned about saving a couple of pence than the risks to people.

This is why you get fiascoes like the BA computer meltdown where the probability is that they had sacked all the people who would have known what to do.

Unfortunately Merv, Maggie May stopped the purchace when she was Home Sec.

It has come to light that the new MP ( Lab ) was on the committee that signed off the work on the Block and also the new London Mayor, Ghengis Khan, refused an application for more funding for the LFB...!!!

Oh I wanted to so much! I used to respect Emily's work and interviews, but I have no idea why she had to go for such cheap shots. These reporters should report not use the opportunity to emote in such a fashion. It serves no purpose.

She was pushing Mrs May over and over again about not going to meet the crowd and was repeating the 'Coward' allegations. It was a sickening piece of journalism, bordering on bullying.
I would hazard a guess it was security who advised Mrs May not to go over to the crowd who were clearly hostile to her presence and would have vented their anger on her. Meanwhile they were very receptive towards that nice Mr Corbyn who promised them anything they wanted. It's easy to sit on the touchline and stir the waters.
Interesting to see the demonstration last night and the number of Socialist Worker and Union banners out. I would have thought the police would have had enough to do coping with the terrorist attack and the Grenfell fire without having to watch over a protest march of people who have nothing to do with the tragedy.

There was a young volunteer interviewed on BBC News channel at lunchtime today who went out of her way to point out the unfair way the media reported the demo at Kensington town hall, pointing out that this was a very isolated incident which the media over emphasised. She pointed out that everyone was upset and needed answers to a lot of questions but the approach should be with love and understanding and not by anger.

To lighten the mood a tad

A wee child was thrown from a ninth floor window presumably by the mother and was safely caught by a young man

Well done that man

I'm getting angrier by the minute with the extremist mob trying to make capital out of this tragedy. People have died. People have life changing injuries. People have lost their homes. And among the stuff I've seen today are scum laying in to the Red Cross for launching an appeal to help. All to score political points.

Jezzer was fast enough to arrive and start hugging people. Good on him for that. But why is he not also appealling for calm and space for hard pressed agencies to do their work?

It is beyond words.

My only question to the authorities is that since the govt has released an immediate £5m and London has more hotels than any other city in this country why are the victims still sleeping on floors?

It's open season at present for all the Marxist luvvies and their fellow travellers in the BBC to stir things up. I am fed up with politics on TV. It is a feeding frenzy for the media and the end is nowhere near in sight.

Dianne Abbot has one too. With at least four bedrooms. Or is that six? No hang on I'll get it in a minute.
