Bloody hot for the Chosen Ones. Well into the twenties already and there are still loads of strange people wandering about outside in overcoats - not oldies either. Does no one watch the weather forecast these days ?

We see a lot of Japanese around here and, almost without exception, they have the most peculiar dress "sense" - it's like a constant fancy dress party !

It's the Rooster this year, I bet Cubie doesn't shoo them away, at least not until they have laid.

How come my edit has been deleted, I changed it after reading it back last night and realising Stephen or Cubie would pounce on it, and I got the update, so which Modplod changed it back?

Merv as our resident BBC expert can you advise me why they continue to swap around sports coverage on both Beeb 1 and 2.
In the old days when we had both analogue and digital tv's, or even earlier when initially only beeb 2 had 625 lines, there was a genuine reason, but now when everyone can access freeview it all seems a bit pointless.

I have no idea since I left before digital TV was the norm. In fact almost before TV was invented. But for once I share your view Towny. It's nonsense. The original reason was actually that at one time national coverage of BBC1 was greater than BBC2. But now that is not so it makes no sense at all.
