So long as Stoke finishes above West Ham I'll be happy and my annual pint bet against my brother will be safe

That's OK Merv, West Ham bottom and Stoke 19th, just need one more volunteer for the drop and Wagner's Terriers will be safe. ;)

Isn't that just like a Gooner ... Wenger never ever sees anything either, unless he wants to

The Hornets nearly took all three points from Liverpool this lunchtime but one apiece at 3:3 will do me.

ps ... at 15:49 the Terriers are 2:0 up at Palace

Not sure which is the worst London team, West Ham or Crystal Palace, I just hope we are still smiling at the end of September.

Didn't they used to be Gravesend & Northfleet when they played in the Southern League ? I remember once when Banbury United beat them 7-0 at home on the first day of the season !

West Ham every time for me. Last year on Ventura we sat at a table with a family of 4, one of the first things the Husband said was ' I'm West Ham and i Hate Man Utd ' The wife gave me the proverbial kick on the leg. Sooo, glad we stuffed them , hope he enjoyed the game...Hahahahaha.

I'd recommend NOT holding your breath mackem.
It's gonna be a long hard season for you guys.
The Championship is brutal.
Full of players you've never heard of who beat you 1-0
So far so good, unbeaten in 3 games.

You're correct there !

I used to watch them with my Grandad when I was a kid.

They 're-branded' themselves to take advantage of the New Garden City

15,000 houses are being built there.

Well we are up and running. We had a pretty dominant display against the Seagulls but they didn't offer much. On that display they are going to struggle. A good win by Mob's lot, Barney won't be happy and neither will our Aldershot supporter.
I wonder what the Gooners and the Mackems serve up.

Not the best of times to be a Mackem eh? At least Middlesbrough lost. You'll have to hope towny's lot beat the Toon Army today to complete the trio.

Not happy at all Foxy, as we missed a late penalty to nick a point.
If you miss a late penalty away from home, you generally get what you deserve.
My low expectations for this season appear to be coming to fruition already. :?

Yeah, saving grace. I live on teesside and surrounded by smoggies so at least they will be quiet for a few days. Lets hope Towny's team do the business and then they will all leave us alone.

And Wenger still moaning, although it was a tight offside decision which could have gone either way. Personally I would have said he was virtually level so which way should it be given?
Towny will be happy after his win against a pretty lacklustre Newcastle side. I like the look of that Mooy fella. He had a good game in the play-off final and today he was equally as good.
And it will be some comfort to the Mackems..................
