Sir Bruce Forsyth has died aged 89

That's very sad he was a very talented entertainer.
Once went to a recording of the generation game, it was hilarious. He was so quick witted in the breaks interacting with the studio audience.

Amazing career.
I was listening to a report on the radio last night about being in the audience at 'strictly come dancing' and apparently Brucie did a warm up act before the show, singing, dancing, cracking jokes - and that was only a few years ago.

It seems amazing to me that I was watching "Sunday Night at the London Palladium" when I was 11! A real all round entertainer. I don't think we have all round entertainers any more do we? He had a good singing voice too.

His style was not entirely to my / our liking although I / we did tend to refer to the Brucie ' Scoreboard ' ad infinitum ...
