GoPro Hero 3 cameras
I'm seriously thinking of buying one of these but can't decide between the Black and the Silver versions.
Has anyone got any experience or has already got the Hero 2 and thinks the Hero 3 isn't worth the extra cost.

I think the colour would be the last thing on my mind
Just had a look on Amazon and see they seem to have the camera listed in price from £280 to £10,000 ... I think someone somewhere must have it priced wrongly. What are the main features you are looking for out of the camera?

Black would be my own choice on any camera, silver as far as I concerned looks tacky.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

Re: GoPro Hero 3 cameras
Sorry, I should have elaborated about the colour. It simply refers to the specification. The Black edition is some £80 more expensive than the "Silver" and has more features but I'm not sure if the higher spec' is worthwhile. The "White" edition is just the base entry at £199.
The intended use for it is when I'm skiing as it can be attached to your skis, helmet, wrist, chest and any where else! It would be great for car track days and perfect for underwater video. Wish I had it for Stingray city or swimming with the Dolphins in Tortola

Personally looking at the spec of all 3 versions I would go for the silver.

Looks like the silver edition should be more than adequate.
