Moving On

Unread post by suespud »

I guess everything moves on...
Things change..for the better ??
People move on ... new friends..

Well we have moved from Swansea to Windsor !!
My OH's new base will be Windsor, till the end of the year.(then home :D ) Sad to be leaving Wales, I have been going there now for over 5 years.
Met some lovely people..but as much as I might not see much of them now.I wont forget or move on from them.
But sooo much to sort out.... !!!!!

I wont be in Windsor till end of June/July because of helping with the twins(due anyday).
But I have seen the apartment..its fab !!!!
Its only minutes away from Legoland... kids have made bookings already to come stay in the summer hols. Great base for them !!
Happy Days.

Best wishes with the move to Windsor Mrs Pud. I hope you and OH will be just as happy in Windsor as you have been in Swansea. I must say I am impressed - your neighbours are well posh!!

And hope all goes well with the twins. Sounds like you are going to have your hands full any time soon.

I hope you will be very happy in Windsor Spud. Watch out for the rough parts though, I wondered in to one once and someone walked past me without tipping his hat :D
Exciting news about the twins, can't wait to see the photos.

Alex is in the new apartment..and sent me lots of pics last night to make sure he is putting things in the right places..lol Down to tea and coffee canisters in the kitchen !!!

Told him he can put them where he likes till i get there in the summer ;)

Gill, I will miss the Swansea area..especially Caswell Bay where our apartment was..just yards from the sea..
OH and I will both miss Wales. I love Cardiff nearly as much as Newcastle. !!!
Wales is a very magical place...we have explored so many places.
We will go back.

Mo

Wales related question if I may

Why do we have to pay to get into Wales - but NO charge to exit

It's more a case of paying to get out of England, whereas it's free admission to the country for all and sundry.... which takes us back to the question of foreigners coming here to screw our benefits system

Sorry, didn't mean to get started on that again.

My closest colleague at work is from Newcastle, used to the lingo and the straight talking so I won't need a translator if we get to Hampton Court..

Because you have to pay for the privilage! And it's free to leave because most people don't want to! :)

I'm off to Swansea tomorrow and had completely fogotten about the bridge til now, so thanks! :)

I know I am blessed, but with a two edged sword. Miss my hubby like mad when Im away from him and miss my family and grandchildren when Im with him.
Yes the apartments are great..I would much rather not have them and we both lived at home.
But only a few more months and I will have my wish.
That wil be fun..learning to live togther 24/7 after my OH living away from home for ten years
