Earth tremor

Unread post by Whynd1 »

Sat in a restaurant in Mumbles, looking out at the sea and the sunshine, then we felt a real rumble.

Got home to find that we had had a small earthquake 4.4.

Wow, missed all the excitement of the skeleton Olympic medals as well.

Computer shaking on desk.

At the time thought SWMBO was coming up stairs even more heavy footed than usual :D

It’s really odd Lindsey. We are only in Southgate, yet we didn’t feel anything at all.

Quite strong down here in Instow.

It felt like something was trying to lift the sofa up.

It was a really weird feeling. I thought something was under the house and actually went outside to take a look.
I'm not quite sure what I expected to be under it?

I kind of wish I’d felt something. My husband was with our daughter at Caswell, and they didn’t feel anything either.
