I think I need to get a new kindle as this one is not charging properly. Don't suppose I can complain (but I will!) it's lasted 5year.

Might be a virus going round, my phone is not holding a charge as it used to, from full it drops to about 50% slowly then loses the rest fast and shuts down. I might have to invest in a new one which is never good news for a Yorkshire-man, trouble is which one, and how much should I pay, and what is a bargain and when am I being fleeced. :?

Have a word with your pharmacist first before your GP.

You are always first with advice Stephen, shame that it's about as useless as a chocolate fireguard.

Have you tried replacing the battery or getting a quote to have one fitted if they are not self changeable.

I am considering that Stephen but the failing of the battery is inconsistent, sometimes it runs down in 24hrs others it lasts 3 days. Makes me wonder if its the phone itself that's at fault, and as I only use infrequently except for texts while on holiday, maybe I should just ensure I keep it fully charged.

We have April showers and sunny intervals, but the sort of temps you associate with late March, not almost May.
Where has global warming gone??

Don't know about gloves, going by the temperatures for the next four days it looks like winter is returning. Might have to resurrect the open fire 🔥
