Well done you Terriers

I sincerely hope those three points result in your survival in the Prem, ideally at the expense of Swansea rather than Southampton.

We were indeed playing for a point as our recent away record is a tad dismal. The tactics were necessary due to the high number of key players who are either below required fitness levels or are recovering from long term injury. When we have a full turnout a top 10 place seems possible ... even with Javi Gracia at the helm.

I do love a man with a sense of humour Moby

The Hornets always have and always will be a yo-yo team and are ever only one season away from the potential disaster of The Championship, which, as we all know, is very, very difficult to get out of.

Enjoy it all while you can !

Just jesting with you Moby.

Outside of the established big boys, pretty much every other team falls into that category.

I wonder how amny now included a relegation clause in the player contracts ?

I know you were

The other point of interest is how much the YoYo clubs need to pay agents to get their players versus that paid by the BIG Boys.

Watford, for example, paid the second highest amount in the Prem during 2017.

Penultimate home game today against Everton, probably our last realistic chance of picking up more points. I well remember playing them back in the fifties in the the old Division 2, Jimmy Glazzard scored 4 goals and we won 8-2, a repeat of that scoreline would be most welcome.

Rumour is that BIG SAM is staying on for another season, maybe with that news they will capitulate and the Terriers will survive.

Big Sam also had a very successful season at Huddersfield where he was very much a crowd favourite. So perhaps he will have fond memories and not push too hard for a win.

So that went well. About as well as our lot. All three at the bottom had good results

Will this be the fortune of the Premiership Managers ?

Arsenal - Arsene Wenger has resigned
Chelsea - Conte's time is up
Crystal Palace - Job very well done but Woy will retire with honour
Everton - Big Sam and the Chairman supporting him will go by Christmas 2018
Leicester City - Puel is a dead man walking and the owners want a ' Name '.
Newcastle - Benitez will not renew his contract unless meaningful funds are provided
Southampton - Hughes will leave if they are relegated
Stoke - Lambert will be axed after 8 games if they are relegated
Swansea - Carlos will be jettisoned if they are relegated
Spurs - Pochettino ' could ' leave for Real Madrid and take Dele and Kane with him
Watford - Gracia will stay if league place is 12th or above at end of season
West Ham - Was David Moyes the right choice, probably not according to the fan base
West Brom - A new man will deffo take charge next season.

Bournemouth - No change expected
Brighton - No change expected
Burnley - No change expected
Huddersfield - No change expected
Liverpool - No change expected
Man City - No change expected
Man United - No change expected

Safety gained yesterday for the Gills.
As we were second bottom at Xmas, I'm happy to still be in League One.
A decent turnout of 500 at Bristol Rovers , given the distance and a good atmosphere.
Due to moving area, next season will be my first in over 25 years without a season ticket for the Gills.
I'm praying that Exeter make it up through the playoffs for a relatively local game :D

Premier league status for another season is beginning to look possible after we became the only PL side to stop Man city scoring at the Etihad this season, another performance like that against Chelsea on Wednesday will make me very happy.

I dont know if I can bear to watch Swansea v Southampton on television this evening. They need to win this one. They have been on the brink of relegation for a couple of seasons now.

Still at least one welshman did well last night.

I shall deffo watch and be rooting for the Saints.

Ironically both teams are where they are due to selling their best players to make a short term profit, perhaps they both deserve to be relegated.

Ah well there go the Swans.
The owners and the manager should hang their heads in shame.
