Don't worry folks. if we do crash out and all does go pear shaped, we will have "taken back control"
Oh and the ideologues will all be taking cover saying "it was the will of the people"

However, I just hope to be proved wrong and Brexit is successful

Had the nation accepted the vote result and got behind the decision then it would have been done and dusted by now. The Anti Democrats have done enormous damage in my opinion, by backing the EU stance. I've never known a time like it. 100,000 March in London to stop brexit ?

Barney I think most are behind the decision now, the problem is what does it look like.

Most have always been behind the decision Ray, that's why Leave won. It can't be denied that there is a very vocal minority who point blank refuse to accept that their side lost. When Anna Soubry was asked by Marr what deal May could bring back for her to accept, she replied none. So even though her own constituency voted to leave ,she cannot accept it. I fully accept that May has made a pigs ear of it so far, but that doesn't mean the decision was wrong, it's just been badly handled since by our Remainer P.M. I note that firm leaver Jezza was absent from the anti democrats March.

Perhaps l'm now in the minority but l still have confidence in Theresa May carrying out the wishes of the public referendum.

I do recall saying somewhere on this or another thread that no cast iron deals would be done until the last few months of negotiations, well we are almost there so if there is a deal to be done the EU needs to stop all this bullsh*t (bluffing) and start to take us seriously otherwise we/EU will all be facing a hard Brexit.

We need to stay strong for the next couple of months by which time the EU will start having to face the realities of what a hard Brexit would really mean for EU companies. The nearer we get to the the departure date the squeaker EU companies will get and in doing so they will put pressure on their governments to take a softer line when negotiating with one of their biggest trading countries.

Stay strong Theresa

Spot on Onelife!!! The Remainers complain that we have made no progress but we might have made better progress had we presented a united front to the EU instead of putting every delaying tactic in the way.

Yes OBF.....They used to hang people for treason

We would be in a far better bargaining position if we had shown a united front for sure...shameful!!

Hope that you had a great day in the sunshine Jack, with all those like minded to people.
100,000 is a pretty good turn out considering the weather and the football being on.

But, to put into context, 70,000 attended the Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival on the same day

I particularly likes the interview with the guy who lived in Holland, with a French wife and two dual nationality children.
The true face of Europeanism, you may say.
He'd come back to the UK specifically for the protest because he was denied his vote in the referendum.
How long have you lived in Holland asked the interviewer ?
30 years replied the guy, and he is now being denied his rights !!!

Still, I expect that you feel better having got it out of your system.
How about all those folk now putting their efforts into backing their country to get the best deal for the UK and the best deal for the EU.

Well leaver friends, where will Boris your charismatic cheer leader be if it all goes wrong? Flying of to some distant place as he is today to avoid the Heathrow vote; and this after him saying he would lie down in front of the bulldozer to stop it going ahead. Disingenuous duplicitous self serving egotist.

They say England didn't understand the ramifications of winning 6-1. They don't want a re-run of the match, just a say on what the score should have been and if they don't like it they will ask to be kept in the competition.
They must have been in London on Saturday.

OMG - another straw is floating by - quick, try and clutch it ;)

It does seem that the Anti Democrats are really getting desperate and grab any morsel of solace to try and vindicate their anti UK position.

If, and it's a big if, Airbus pull out of Wales, it's unlikely it will be much to do with Brexit because there are no tariffs on aerospace industries world wide.
The were talking about moving part of the operation to China at one time. China is not in the EU last time I checked.
They buy the engines from the 'big three' none of which are in mainland Europe.

It's an international business and they tend to move around the world to where ever gives the best value.

Meanwhile, back in the world of facts, more thirdworld backward countries looking for massive subsidies from our taxes.
