Boy, what a storm !!!

We've had the mother of all storms here in North Devon

The last time I saw rain like that was in Florida.

What was it like where you are ?

Up here in the Sunny North West, we had 10 mins of light rain last night, nothing since, yet.! Forecaste for showers all afternoon and rain all day tomorrow ( sun). A bit breezy but nothing of note.

Thunder and lightning overhead and rain bouncing off the paths - my lawns now look brown with green tufts instead of yellow

I guess I won't be watering the pots tonight

Some rain overnight and a very light shower about 1pm that's all so far. We are forecast for rain but not arrived yet!

Update - deluge of hailstones - looks as if it has been snowing - lawns now white - I'm like a big kid watching it - nature is a powerful beast that's for sure

In sunny 'n' various shades of cloud down here in Darzet we have a light breeze and, thankfully, lower temperatures …. so far.

ps … we heard it rain overnight but by morning only a handful of the patio slabs were wet.

we had isolated thunder storms - SD works five minutes walk from home and rang home to ask me to shut her bedroom windows if it got and heavier (does she credit me with no sense?). We hadn't had a drop....

It came down in stairrods about an hour later for 15 mins or so - then stopped completely. Much fresher today, and windy

A lot of cloud, much cooler and a bit windy, but only a few spots of rain here in the South Northlands.

Early hours of Saturday morning it hammered it down here in the Costa South East. Showers forecast for most of today. It's certainly allot cooler. Might have to put the heating back on

Wind has picked up somewhat and we have continuous albeit steady rain and cos it's a whole lot cooler Chicken Enchiladas, instead of salad, for dinner … Hoo-Rah
