I know it is a bit of a trek but come down to J28 outlet village, there is Gieves and Hawkes shirt outlet, they prices are amazing, £100 shirts for £20
they measure you properly and you can try on everything before you buy

AOTH got a shirt or two there the other week and said he ould have spent a fortune in there, they are really good
give em a google and see if there is one near you
I confirm the information contained within this posting. DK is usually full of **it but on this point he is rather less smelly.

that's not the prices in the outlet stores, they are around £20-£30 each, I have bought 9 or so recently and never paid more than £25 each and they ae twice as good as M&S or Debenhams etc

they really are excellent products

I splashed out on one from Lewin's £30...and it fits great. Never spent so much on a shirt...usually get work shirts from Asda/Sainbury's for about £4

Lewin's were doing 4 for £100, but I just couldn't....

I've just realised - it's almost time to think about getting out luggage (and therefore sorting out clothes). Buying shirts for him who is loved and obeyed ...... handcuffs and cattle prod comes to mind as we enter the shops and prepare to hear the well rehearsed anthem 'I don't like that, I don't like this'! :?

Em ;)

I recently bought four shirts online for just a bit less than for £100 from Charles Tyrwhitt (also Jermyn Street as it happens) which are very good quality and value. Size is easy enough - 17" classic fit always does the job. For casual shirts, I don't think you can beat Cotton Traders - Old Fran knows that you need a bit of room in them!

What is it with blokes not liking shopping (especially clothing for a cruise)? New boys toys - ok; clothes - oh no!

I don't know, I despair - you look after them, you love them, you provide them with a lovely home, you book them cruises, you even let them drive your pride and joy to Southampton ....... will they behave in the shops looking for clothes for said cruise ......... !!!!!! no !!!!!!

Em

I might do a naughty sneaky - he's after a new camera, so I could always combine the clothes shopping with collecting the new camera which he's reserved .... I wonder if he will be a good boy?
