I don't think the unemployed youth of Spain, Italy and Greece are too impressed either. Let's face it the EU is a failed project and the sooner we get out the better. One day Remainers will wake up to the fact they are backing a lame duck.

OK, if we start on the supposition that the EU is a wonderful institution, then can anyone answer me this?

Why are rich European countries like Norway, Switzerland and Iceland not queuing up to join?
Why is it only backward, corrupt, third world, and ex-communist states like Albania, Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia and wait for it ….. yep ! Turkey trying to join?
As much as Remoaners try to deny it, Turkey is still on the official candidates list after all that has happened there.

Another question that is rarely asked is how come the official Remain campaign could not convince a mere 50% plus 1 of the voters that the EU was worth remaining in?
Given that they had all the resources you'd have thought that it would have been easy, wouldn't you?

There's a poll in todays Sun on Sunday, done by Deltapoll that shows that of those questioned, 31% would like a second vote on the issue while 40% just want to leave in March next year, with or without a deal and of those questioned, 11% of Leavers have changed their mind, while 15% of Remainers have changed theirs.

So, 267 thousand people 'signing' an online petition seems about right to be.
'People's Vote' ? don't make me laugh

They may well be different Jack but there are a few which have one thing in common.... Greece, Hungery, Lithuania and Malta all recive more money from the EU than what they put in.

Time to start looking after our needs rather than dishing out money to countries which have mismanaged their own economies.
The latest stats show there are only 9 net contributing countries to the EU, and the UK is one of them.

Looking forward immensely to next week and the publication of the GOVERNMENT'S impact assessments. NO MORE Sunny Uplands or Project Fear. Hopefully just real facts to inform and guide.

Sorry Barney, I didn't see any facts.
I can tell you however in that time the petition has gone from 260k to 273,756. Not bad considering that the target is 300k.

That's what I'm hoping for as well Ray. No more ifs, or coulds like the Guardian likes to report.
I read in the observer today headline story that Standard Charter announced more jobs that previously thought may be transferred to the continent. Then on reading the full article I found out that they are talking dozens. Hardly the end of the world the observer would have us believe. A few actual facts would be nice as project fear have lost all credibility except with a few diehard anti democrats.

300k is a joke Jack. The Labour Party membership is in excess of 500k alone. To claim to speak for the majority as you do, you'll need to do a lot better than that.

So if the crowd who want to have another referendum do their million pound surveys, and suppose the answer is 35% want another referendum, 40% don't and 25% don't answer, will they use their usual Remainer maths and argue that means 60% aren't against another vote and therefore we should have one?

Or since they argued we should have required a 2/3 majority to change the status quo and leave the EU, will they now argue we need a 2/3 majority to change the new status quo, which is that we have activated Article 50 and are leaving?

Why don't we just have another vote to re-enforce how much we want Brexit?

That would shut shut up those pesky remainers and put to bed all the evidence of a flawed original vote.

Not to mention all the current under age voters, as well as all the millions as yet unborn. Really we Brexiteers must learn to accept that the EU indoctrinated remain camp must always win, otherwise they will REMAIN unhappy and upset, poor things.
