DK - I;ve been called a trolley-dolly many times, but actually the training is quite long and detailed and hopefully we can get people out of an aircraft in 90 seconds. A colleague of mine in the early seventies went back into an aircraft to save a child and they both died. :-(

You didn't offend me, and my original post was not said to offend. I simply thought it was over-hyped.

Can I just point out that, as Admin, I have not contacted anyone in respect of this subject

Well somebody has contact Mo about her posts on my thread and I can't see why. She didn't say anything offensive. I think some people are too quick to jump on others. This community is getting like so many others I'm afraid.

Admin = mods - I was contacted with some 'unofficial' 'friendly' advice, but which left me in no doubt that my card was being marked. Just so I can confirm that I am not being singled out, I was interested to know if anyone else had received 'unofficial' 'friendly' advice ....... doesn't appear so.

Hi Jean,

I tried to pm you, but the system said I wasn't allowed to do so!

Thanks for the info anyway.

Hi em, I got your second one. And again I am the last person to ask - I don't do shopping if I can help it!! The only thing I would say is if I flew, which i don't any more, I would fly out, get it over with and have the pleasure of the cruise back.

Good question Admiral. I don't think they should be locked at all. I had a read of the pope thread and some of it was outrageously stupid  and some of it was pure baiting. All threads die out eventually anyway (apart from LOTP). I couldn't believe that Cubie got a telling off, he is a very inoffensive cat really.

Some will perceive posts as 'baiting' whilst others simply see those posts as expressions of a different opinion regarding the topic and Moderators may have to view the t&cs to determine whether someone has violated those terms in their replies to the thread. Threads do not need to be locked if people agree to differ without resorting to insults or name-calling.

Yes dear, I'm sure you're right :D Now, I hear you've been telling people that there are a group of 'vile' posters on this forum. Can you let me know who they are so I can avoid them?

If you know that much Helen, then you will know who they are and why they were described thus. I'm waiting for the description to be proved wrong, so are you going to prove me wrong and move on ?

My God woman, am I to take it that I am one of the vile creatures you mentioned? That's really not very nice is it?

I thought you could only leave there when you have served your time unless you are released for good behaviour - and there's no chance of that !!
