I apologise for the forum being down over the last couple of days but it was due to issues with my hosting company and trying to resolve the problems when I am 12,000 miles away and with a 13 hour time difference has been somewhat challenging - especially as I only have my Playbook to work with.

Hopefully all will be well from now on.

A round of applause to you David for getting it resolved.

I am getting the occaisonal 503/403 error when I make posts but find that reloading the site from favourites seems to resolve it.

Think they are both intermittent errors as I too am getting them... Still at least we can use it and may we probably need to to wait for David to come back to fix completely...maybe it is due for it's first service

I just logged in via favourites as I usually do, I was getting the 403 message yesterday but it's fine today

Thanks David for taking the trouble to sort out the forum while on holiday especially with the time difference - I really missed it as I am sure did many others. This site is far more addictive than I had realised until it went down. Hope you are enjoying your holiday and thanks again.

Ssshhhh DQ! I didn't want everyone to know David treated all the mods to a 2 day cruise on the Manchester Ship Canal and shut the site down to give us a break. Don't tell the others though.

Had not been on for over a week, went to log on Tuesday and kept getting the message that I was Forbidden and did not have permission to enter he site . Never having had a message like that before I could not think of what I done wrong. any how thanks to David for taking time out to get it sorted .

I was getting the 403 Forbidden messages on my laptop and iPad, so I'd gathered it wasn't just my computer - I even went on Facebook this morning to reassure myself it wasn't just me who had been banned !

Facebook mentioned that the site was running again so here I am.
