Re: Apologies
Thanks for sorting it out Smurf-Plod. I've been at a complete loose end for 2 days !
Still getting the "Service Unavailable" error message from time to time though but, like Ken, I can restore it through favourites. Just a bit of a pain, that's all. Have to have something to whinge about !

Re: Apologies
Thanks David, I'm not very good with computers and thought maybe it was my machine! Glad it's not.
I am in bed with a nasty cold, feeling very ill and sorry for myself, so it's great that the forum's back and I can have a good browse from my sick bed!

Getting the error message more and more now - making it virtually unworkable

My eyesight must be failing - when I glanced at your new location, at first I thought it said "Goat's Own County" !

Re: Apologies
If it helps Super Plod to identify the problem, this is the message I am repeatedly getting:
Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

It's the "mods" Jay they've taken delivery of a batch of yellow pens ( softer on the eyes than red ) and they've been practising their colouring skillsjay-ell71 wrote:I got a "Phishing" warning this afternoon!! Re: Apologies
It's great to have you back. Like many, I thought it was me until I contacted Jenni via Facebook. Thank you Jenni & David and everyone else who had a hand in restoring the forum.

Re: Apologies
Not me Angela - all credit goes to David, I merely tried to keep everyone informed. The forum is still not as stable as it was and I am still getting errors, so a bit of a band aid at the momentHoliday Planner wrote:It's great to have you back. Re: Apologies
I don't want to speak too soon but the forum seems to have stabilised in the last half hour or so I'm not getting any error messages and I'm not having to refresh

Re: Apologies
Davud had said that it may take a little while to stabilise, so hopefully that is her sorted again.
