Police Knocking Off Bikes
At last the theiving scooter scum bags are getting what they deserve and are now being knocked off they're stolen scooters by police in a attempt to stop them getting away. And about time.
A good kicking while they're down wouldn't go a miss either.

Me thinks this is rather drastic and totally unexceptional

Re: Police Knocking Off Bikes
Unfortunately the Police have been taught to knock them off the stolen bikes at a very slow speed so as to minimise the risk of injury … a and a compo claim no doubt.
I don't have a problem with these new tactics … and the number of bikes stolen has reduced considerably.

Not just bikes Moby. Phones, bags and anything else they can grab, that's on top of the intimidation and threat of violence if the victim doesn't hand over the goods.

While we’re at it,bring back Capital punishment. With forensics today,ie,DNA. There is little doubt as to Guilt and mistakes being made.We could always use the American system of Murder in the 1 st, 2 nd degree. I spent a lot of time working on Lifer units..I would have happily pulled the lever.

The problem with thugs on bikes is that they can outmanoeuvr police cars so a lot of them get away. l can see the logic behind this move but it has to be cost affective....e.g cost of car repair, hospital care and court procedings. l personally would prefer the 'quick kill' approach which will still incur the above costs but it will stop them re offending which in the long run should make it more cost affective.

No sympathy for these lowlifes whatsoever. They try to use the law for their own nasty benefit whether it be for theft or the more sinister attacks with corrosive fluids. It's an evil crime.

I thought one of the best stories I heard about this was that the "toe-rags" believed that if they took their helmets off then the police could not knock them off their bikes - got that wrong!
