James Herbert RIP

Very sad to hear that James Herbert has passed away. I grew up with his books including 'The Rats', 'The Lair', 'The fog' and one of the books that I have always classified as the best horror book I have ever read which is 'The Survivor'.

Too scary for me to read, although I did read The Rats many years ago - like a nice story now

Ohhhh thats such a shame. I too loved his books.
Sat on my feet for months after reading The Rats and as for The Fog... well lets just say Im still scared to go out on my own when its foggy.
