No.
There is no cunning plan.
It is just the British spirit of fairness, compassion, togetherness.
The ability to look defeat in the face and fight on.
Not to give in to the voices of appeasement.
Because it is the right thing to do.

I suspect the bosses of the EU might have more pull their side of the channel, I believe Bayer now owns Monsanto, and of course Syngenta is Swiss, so won't be bothered either way.

Well this is interesting.
In Sept 2016 43% said they voted leave.
In Feb 2019 only 34% admitted that they had done this.

About as relevant as most of your posts Jack.
But pesticide use and intensive farming are highlighted as possibly being responsible for declining insects pollinators, and this is a worldwide issue and not one that being in or out of the EU is likely to solve.

Just imagine how we would be flourishing had the losers not decided to try and overturn the result?

Back in the world of Fake News … from the same periodical

Most sensible people are stockpiling. I should imagine companies are doing the same. Of course the economy is doing well, at the moment, preparing.

Tusk is (as you know) referring to the majority in the country. Aren't you dizzy with all this spinning?

Not at all Jack !

Just calling it as it is, not as some wish it would be.

I expect that you have lots of evidence of folk stockpiling … or could it just be a touch of Project Fear ?

The simple truth of the matter is that while the Political class are getting themselves hysterical about it, millions of ordinary folk are just going about their business as usual.
I should know, I'm in business.

I was speaking to a supplier from Padborg in Denmark this morning and asked if they envisage any problems after Brexit.
"not really" they replied.
"you place your order and we'll send it"

If that takes a few days longer, it's not the end of the world.

For those on here who like facts

Fact #1. The UK economy sees more growth in the north. You don’t have to be in London to be successful in the UK. In fact, more new businesses are founded in the north in areas such as Manchester, than any other area in the UK. There has been an average economic growth of 74% in the north compared to London’s 42%.

Fact #2. Britain spends less on investments than any other G7 economy. In 2013, the UK spent 15% of GDP on investment which is just behind other G7 economies such as Germany and Italy with 17%. In comparison, France spent 25% of their GDP on investments.

Fact #3. The UK’s homebuilding rate is among the worst in the world. The UK’s homebuilding rate of 0.21% is among the lowest in the Western world but that does not signal a housing shortage just yet. This is a good indication of consumer uncertainty and usually follows a definitive pattern.

Fact #4. The number of foreign-owned businesses in the UK has decreased by 3% since 2009, but their contribution to UK value added has increased by almost 19%.

Fact #5. Almost a quarter of foreign-owned businesses in the UK are owned from within the USA. Foreign investment is an important part of any economy as it not only adds a financial boost to the country, but it also shows that there is global confidence in our country as well.

Fact #1. Movie 'trailers' were originally shown after the film, hence the name.

Fact #2. If Pinocchio says "My nose will grow now" it would create a paradox.

Fact #3. In 2017 more people died from taking selfies than shark attacks.

Fact #4. Hewlett- Packard's name was decided on a coin toss.

FACT, my pharmaceutical friends company is stockpiling, they run on a just in time ordering system so it was a costly decision not taken lightly. Sadly if all does go pear-shaped it won't be the politicians or the gung ho supporters of a cliff edge that will have to tell the customer that they have run out of medicines for depression or that there are no antibiotics for their sick child.

So the Labour Party have "clarified" their view on a second referendum

If a deal (any deal) is agreed by a Conservative government they will demand a second confirming referendum

If there is a change of Government and a Labour government agree a deal they do not want a second referendom because "it won't be neccessary"

McDonnell has said that in any referendum he will vote to remain
