My dog ha hurt her pawπŸ˜• she was ok until just before we arrived home this morning then she started to limp! Her paw is slightly swollen and red between her toes. She hadn't had any pm walks. Shall see how she is in the morning. I have been bathing it and put antiseptic cream, also trying to stop her licking it😣😱

Sounds like she either has something embedded in it or has been possibly stung.

Looks like a trip to the vets. ££££££££......but they're worth it.

Yes they're worth it.
The good news is that there is an improvement swelling has gone :) As you said I think she might have been stung as I couldn't feel anything in her paw. Have taken her a short walk this afternoon and she seems "happier" walking on it.

I got a hole in one once on the crazy golf.

I'm more likely to be elected President of the US than do it on a proper golf course.

In fact it'd be an achievement to do a hole in single figures!

Had an unusual call last night.

I'm selling a heating item online, and thinking because of the sort of item it is I wouldn't get any response until the autumn, but I thought I'd give it a go. Anyway this chap phones up and say's "will you take X amount plus two bottles of wine for it".....

I thought that's a new one on me or he knows me.

Anyway, when he knew I wasn't interested in his probable Blue Nun offer and wouldn't budge on price he said the usual "I'll get back to you tomorrow" and that was that.

It did make Mrs S and I chuckle though. Perhaps I should have delved deeper and asked if it was a vintage range.....of Blue Nun :D

Anyone else had a similar experience

Bought some items in Turkey years back and needed some change. They didn't have the right amount so I was given a pile of Turkish Lira, four cans of coke and a banana …. does that count ?

Why should a hole in one ever be a surprise? Doesn't every golfer aim for the whole?

I should add that I'm not old enough to play golf.

No change with the weather.

Typical BBC, online forecast shows one thing, reality outside shows another
