Dream Job
I don't know if anyone is watching the current series of Grand Designs but on this week's episode there was a young chap who was a test engineer for Aston Martin - the poor chap had to spend all day driving Aston Martins around and the icing on the cake was that he was able to take a "company car" home at night, beats your Ford Mondeo company car.

I think I'd prefer the Aston Martin job. A friend's son is an apprentice at Bentley. After 3 years in post he gets to borrow samples.

Re: Dream Job
I worked with someone whose husband worked for TVR so she turned up in one of those. Mind you she said they would never buy one as it was always breaking down, rattled and creaked..........but boy, could it shift!!!
My brother once had one of those Sports car days and tried out a Lamborghini. He said it was great but he had to crawl to get out of the thing. Not exactly elegant.

Re: Dream Job
My father used to be a director in a company that had an exotic car dealership in its portfolio. When his boring little company car was in for a service he often got to borrow a car from their 'exotic' collection. I remember him turning up in anything from Maseratti's to Ferrari's - never allowed us to borrow them though
... the best we got was to sit in them in the driveway and give them a rev or two.

I always from a boy wanted to be Captain of the Red Funnel ferry. But myopia and colour blindness put paid to that.
