She's a non-starter for me. Only be an MP for five minutes.

Despite being a fellow Scouser I find nothing appealing about Ms McVey, further comment could find me being accused of being a misogynist which I can assure I am not.

No offence taken Screwy - my son lives up north and on the occasions when we've gone into Liverpool I struggle with the accent but realise mine can be a bit difficult to understand too - when I hear myself speaking I'm horrified.

No-one even talking about the new Lib Dem leader? Mind you under their rules it has to be one of their MPs. So not a lot of choice. But I'll be glad to see the back of Cable.

It'll be Boris for the time being but come the General Election post November the Brexit Party will walk it if we haven't left by then.

I doubt it Moby, they have even less chance than your team had in the cup final!!
Labour voters can always be relied upon to vote for any dead donkey that wears a red rosette in a general election, its only Tory voters that think before they vote.

Judging by the feelings towards the Labour Party in these parts their support seems to be waning. Our council has now gone Independent :o and the Brexit Party registered strongly in the North West. If they pursue their Islington policy for a second referendum they might get a bit of a drubbing around here. Corbyn has a dilemma.

Why do you think that the Labour party want to ditch Corbyn ?

I've seen or read nothing to suggest that Ray. :?:

A few want him to change his views on brexit, but he has always been anti EU

Interesting that post the EU elections and in the run up to theTory leadership contest not one of the parties or candidates is talking about what's best for the country. Only about what's best for their party.

I voted Brexit party and DW voted Tory in these EU elections, and I will be joining her in the next GE, not saying we are typical but I doubt that anywhere near all the leave voters will register protest votes in any GE.
I have to confess I am having grave doubts that a brexit of the sort I hoped for is at all likely, I certainly don't want a no deal but equally I don't really like Theresa's WA, any trade deal that follows it would have to be extremely generous to make that WA acceptable, and I doubt we would achieve anything approaching generous. Which is why I would seriously consider voting remain in any 2nd vote, or probably not vote at all, but I worry that with this parliament will trundle over the no deal cliff on Halloween through sheer intransigence and stupidity.

I find it hard to believe that as bad as this Tory rabble are, they still look quite sane when compared to the stance that Labour is currently taking.

To suspend a member for voting for another party may well be in the constitution, but to publicly enact it, when under investigation for racism, is total madness.

Who is advising these people?

I quit when Corbyn was elected, then quite warmed to him and re-joined because of his fiscal policies, and now look like quitting again because of the ridiculous way it is run.
It's like Uni student politics.
