Were any of you on the P & O Facebook page yesterday?
Apparently there was an unholy row on the P & O Facebook page yesterday concerning this forum and involving one of the mods. Sod's law dictated that I was out and missed it and it has now been deleted. From a sociological point of view only (I don't have a nosy bone in my body) I would be interested in hearing what went on. It is a shame that I wasn't around actually as I've often been told that I could have forged a successful career in the diplomatic service

Hi Hk
He’ll let me know in no uncertain words if I’m wrong, but I wouldn’t mind betting it involved Mob as he enjoys a bit of Sunday sport!!

Keith

Thanks for the info - I've had a look on FB and all I can see is someone saying they didn't like what happened as a result of the original post, and that therefore the person who posted it withdrew something!
Hey ho.
This forum is lovely - and once again many thanks to all involved.

Hi Mob
I don’t think there's anything you could say which would upset me, and the reason why I stuck up for you yesterday on Facebook when they were saying such awful things about you
A friend in need is a friend indeed

Hi Wina,
Thanks for that reassurance....I think our Darknightie has be spending too much time with AOTH as I did mention to him that I’d been experiencing a few problems with my computer.
As you can see it’s all been fixed and the reason why I’m now able to send you these xxxxx
Best wishes
Keith

Why would anyone want an argument on FB about this forum vs P&O Community forum, especially as the latter seems to be as dead as the Monty Python parrot.

If what I have been told is correct I get the impression it was just some people throwing their toys around for no good reason.towny44 wrote:Why would anyone want an argument on FB about this forum vs P&O Community forum, especially as the latter seems to be as dead as the Monty Python parrot.

Keefy it seems to have sorted itself now
when using an apostrophe, it was showing 3 or 4 odd symbols, such as € á etc
but it has gone now??

I imagine those on Facebook will be able to tell you HK. I tend not to bother with it.
I was taught to be cautious

Although I was on FB yesterday, I didn't visit the P&O page, and so have no idea what happened.

Darknightie,
Your right I did see one of my posts showing a few odd symbols....I put it down to a blip not of my making.
Btw... hope you're making good progress with your recovery.
Best wishes
