Not spoken but I did nearly wet myself when watching the Exorcist for the first time and the words
Help me
came up on Regan's stomach.

From The Railway Children when she see her long lost Father approaching along the railway platform:

Has me sobbing every time!!!

I love that ending to The Railway Children as well. Always gives me the moist eyes, but my favourite is;
"Nobody killed them Number One. Its the war. The whole damned war" Jack Hawkins aka Lt Commander George Eastwood Ericson in The Cruel Sea.
If Graham the port presenter from Arcadia 2013 world cruise reads this he will know what I mean, we discussed The Cruel Sea. Its one of his favourites as well.

A great film, I could watch it over and over again. If you get the chance to go to Halifax, Nova Scotia, then they have HMCS Sackville, the last of the Flower Class corvettes.Frank Manning wrote:I love that ending to The Railway Children as well. Always gives me the moist eyes, but my favourite is;

Ah, yes, I remember now. Thank you.
I thought the Christian Bale series were the best of the versions. Incidentally, he went to the same school as me (though, obviously, not at the same time!)
