It seems the Foxes were ' saved ' from losing by VAR in their game

Re: Football 2019/20
Great result for us today. With a bit of better finishing we could have taken all three points. Chelsea were all over us for the first 20 minutes but after that they seemed to run out of gas and the game was ours for the taking.
We've got the Blades next week so it will be interesting o see what we do against them. Never keen on meeting promoted teams early in the season when they're all fired up and full of adrenaline.
Nobody's asked yet. Who do we think are going to be in the relegation pack? I reckon Newcastle could be one but what about the others?

Re: Football 2019/20
Crystal Palace unless Zaha stops sulking would be my guess given that they are presently weaker in attack and defence, not a good combination me thinks.
Aston Villa would be my second choice and like Foxy Newcastle my third … albeit in no particular order.

The blades have a young centre back called John Egan who made his name at the Gills.oldbluefox wrote: 19 Aug 2019, 14:19Great result for us today. Another in the long line of good players who left on a free, although we did get a bit for development.
I could tell on his debut that he was too good for our level.

It was a cracker of a two two Moby.
Best game I've seen for many a day.
Both of their goals were beauties and not down to defensive errors.
It could have been four four.

Re: Football 2019/20
Well …. it just had to happen.
The Hornets have just appointed Quique Sanchez Florez as their new latest Manger. He was sorely missed when he left in 2016 but it's great to see him back.
Javi Gracia was deffo a decent bloke but seemed to lack charisma, best wishes from this Hornet

Will he finish the season, that is the question?
Once again, Gills managed to snatch a point from a position of convincing victory.

Worried they only have lower league experience, but Wagner had no major league experience either.

He's probably been bought in short term while the owners seek other candidates for the 2020 / 21 season

Re: Football 2019/20
I believe it was Watfords stiffs and kids and was little more than a run about for them.
Gills used it to watch fringe players who think they deserve a chance in the team.
One lad got a first half hat trick so did his claim no harm.

A run out for the kids it has to be as there is nothing reported on the O's Official site nor even in the local Rag. Minutes rather than results at this level are the most important but well done to the lad who got a hattrick … who on earth was our goalie assuming we actually had one

I cannot see Town making a comeback anytime soon, it might have to be from League 2 if we don't start performing.

Re: Football 2019/20
I do hope you're right Barney, my concern is that on all TV viewings, since we beat Wolves in Feb, we have looked totally inferior technically, even against Cowleys Imps in the Carabau cup defeat, and he would need to be a miracle worker to remedy that deficit.barney wrote: 16 Sep 2019, 10:35Cowley will sort them out Towny.towny44 wrote: 16 Sep 2019, 08:39I cannot see Town making a comeback anytime soon, it might have to be from League 2 if we don't start performing.
