Strictly is in my view an entertainment show. If it was a serious dance competition they'd leave the judging to the professionals and not let the ill informed great unwashed have a say.

Now in a similar vein has anybody ever spotted any actual talent in Britain's Got Talent? Or does that show have a subtitle - (but we're not showing you any of it)?

Not sure why it's called BRITAINS got talent.

We saw Strictly for the first time last night. Casting aside that we hardly knew any of the so-called 'Celebrities' we thought the standard of the dancing for the third week was excellent - two scores of 10! Of course there were those who are destined to leave early, not that you can always tell. I've assumed it really depends on how popular the person is. I assume that Anneka will be off sooner rather than later!

Well, we had it all last nights night.

One of the professionals going a*se over tit

10's being dished out

And Anton and his teeth, which had everyone in stitches thanks to Craig's faux pas.

But I'm afraid it has to be 'good night Anneka' tonight.

I never look at spoilers. You would have had to be blind not to see she was the prime candidate for eviction. I've seen ironing boards with more movement.

Apart from the fact that she couldn't dance, the outfits she wore didn't do anything for her

Well I wonder who will be voted off this week, actually I already read the spoiler.
However its interesting that there are no stand out female Celebs this year, but there are certainly two stand out men in Kelvin and Karim, the ladies will need to show some massive improvements if they are to be anything other than also rans this year.

I think a couple of the girls - Catherine and Saffron - are showing enormous potential. They are both a bit of a slow, steady burn I think, rather than quick starters that can’t maintain the standard. But you never can tell.

My guess is it will be David James hitting the skids tonight. I think Mike Bushell will stay in for another week because of his popularity.

But I could be wrong....it has been known ;)

I think David is overdue the chop. I was amazed at the scores he got last week. We thought he was pigeon toed, flat footed and missed steps. Clearly the judges saw something different. This week he's back to his usual poor form. I'm not sure about Mike Bushell's popularity. We've not taken to him at all. "Jumped up" were among Trish's words. And I don't think she meant his dance style!

I can't believe Trish would think that. She came across as a true lady when we met her ......but then who knows how a woman's mind works. If I knew that I would be up for the next Nobel prize :D

She'd have been disappointed then! Had to buy one. And the penalty for not doing so was summary dismissal.

Talking of which..... right dismissal tonight. Now if we can get rid of irritating Bushell.......

He was very good at ' that ' including 50+ caps for England ….David James.

At 6ft 5ins he was always going to struggle with some of the dance styles, especially the Jive / Twist. :wtf:
