I would agree on paper but if this year is the same as previous years then it is all down to the public vote and that will be between Kelvin and Emma - and Anton has massive public support.Mervyn and Trish wrote: 08 Dec 2019, 09:08I'd love Anton and Emma to win but my money would be on Kelvin.

If Kelvin does not win it will be a grave miscarriage of dance justice, especially if it's because Anton gets the sympathy vote.david63 wrote: 08 Dec 2019, 09:12I would agree on paper but if this year is the same as previous years then it is all down to the public vote and that will be between Kelvin and Emma - and Anton has massive public support.Mervyn and Trish wrote: 08 Dec 2019, 09:08I'd love Anton and Emma to win but my money would be on Kelvin.

It's not a dance competition. If it was most of the celebs wouldn't pass the first audition.
It's an entertainment programme.

Yes Sir Merv,.......It is an entertainment program and whilst l wouldn't bet against Kelvin deservedly winning strictly l would get more entertainment out of seeing Anton crying his eyes out ........anyone got a tissue?

I'm with you OL.
But if Kelvin does win, which would be well deserved, just wait for the cries of "fix" because he's dancing with a judge's sister!

I wonder what the final would be like if the other lad had not had to drop out allowing Kelvin to replace him?

If she had the casting vote then people could call fowl but l think she has been pretty consistent throughout ....Now that Arlene is another matter, not only dose she have the casting vote but l have on a couple of occasions witnessed bias tendencies towards certain dancers......don't put me on the spot Sir Merv cos l can't remember who and when but you can be sure onelife is never far off the mark.Mervyn and Trish wrote: 08 Dec 2019, 13:02I'm with you OL.

With the final result being entirely on the public vote Emma and Anton will be at least the runners up and may even win. But it really should be Kelvin's trophy. He's been amazing.

Kelvin is odds on to win.........With Emma and the other guy both trading at 5/1
l might just have a speculative tenner on Emma as l think the voting public are getting behind cry baby Anton.

Re: Strictly
I dont think Emma is as good as quite a few who have already been voted off, and yes I do know its an entertainment show and not really about the best dancer. However I will be demanding my license fee back if Kelvin does not win; oops I forgot I dont pay for one, until mid next year.

I agree that Emma isn’t as good as many. She’s very variable and for some reason I just can’t warm to her.

Re: Strictly
Interestingly I remember reading before Strictly started that Emma was tipped to be in the final, if not the winner - but that was before Kelvin was on the scene

At least he has not got the "comedy act" this year.
Only the second time he has reached the final in 15 years!

It came from his own lips so he's either in the early stages of dementia or he's the love child of Diane Abbott
