Christmas presents for under £50
So what do you buy a 60+ year old for Christmas?
My wife asked me that question a couple of weeks back and l still haven't come up with anything....perhaps she thinks my two false teeth will suffice?
I've bought my wife a nature watch camera and a 1.5ltr coffee percolator.... but please don't tell her l've said that.
Best ideas for under £50 will get a box of keefy' s finest.

Re: Christmas presents for under £50
You just ruined it with the choccies offer Keith
It's a bit like saying how long is a piece of string. Mrs S said, I don't want any perfume, electrical or gadget goods etc etc. So I've got her bu99er all. Just got to work out how to wrap it.

Jewellery always works for me - after all diamonds ARE a girl’s best friend. Not sure £50 will be enough though.

What about a new brush and dustpan along with a tin of polish and some cloths in gift wrap with a bow.
Just a suggestion

Sadly cant find what I am looking for for £50, not even £50 per night.
Ah well.
Maybe I might win the lottery.

The problem with Diamonds is that there a few occasions where you get to wear them......cruising being one exception but my wife doesn't enjoy cruising so it stays in the draw most of the year..... apart for when l dress up to go outGillD46 wrote: 14 Dec 2019, 18:27Jewellery always works for me - after all diamonds ARE a girl’s best friend. Personally I think your over spending. I'd see what Poundland have to offer and then make it look good by wrapping it in some quality paper.

I am / was / used to be ( delete as applicable ) told that It is difficult to buy me presents.
Why don't you b***** well ask me what I would like I would tell them
Buying Amazon vouchers can be a good plan as these can be saved up and used for something that one actually wants, saves having a drawer / wardrobe full of ill fitting wrong coloured items that folk spent so much time choosing in an attempt to please.
ps …. Bah Humbug

Re: Christmas presents for under £50
Totally agree Moby.
Every year it's the same old cr*p. I really don't know why we all bother. If I need or want something I buy buy it when needed during the year. I don't need more hankies, slippers, socks or some obscure item that is never gong to see the light of day. Ungrateful git, yes, live with it.
Yours Sincerely

You can always donate unwanted gifts to the local charity shop, and who knows you might find something you really wanted amongst someone else's donations.

Re: Christmas presents for under £50
I enjoy popping into charity shops both to give and buy but most of our unwanted Christmas presents go into raffles throughout the year.
Perfume has always been a good standby but you don't get much for £50 these days.....l spent around £80 last year for a bottle of Chanel for my daughter but l'll be looking for something cheaper this year......any recommendation ladies?
