Re: Ciara
Winds were c 70 mph yesterday so being an ex Northern softie we rearranged our Sunday Pub Roast for the 23rd.
Blue skies at the mo but 50 mph winds and hail storms due this afternoon.

With 40 metres of wooden panel fencing fronting our property I'm just glad we had concrete posts supporting them.....I don't know what wind speed we had but i would imagine fencing contractors will be kept busy over the coming weeks.

Hi Sir Merv...you’ve missed the pheasant shoot but your welcome to join me for the venison shoot...don’t forget your deer stalker
Oh.....and please don’t mention this to Stephen as the Lady of the house doesn’t take kindly to riff raff lurking around the estate.

The ice cream van in that picture is our local one from Appledore
My mother in law went to school with the family that founded it.
Hockings is still going strong although I’d accept that yesterday wasn’t their best ever day.
