Have you thought of just putting the money in the bin? Cut out the middle man and all the uncertainty.

Hi Sir Merv.....but then l wouldn't enjoy all the entertainment as much........besides, four days entertainment will cost me less than a night out at the theatre with my wife...no brainer in book.......but please don't tell the wife l've said that.

Still two days to go with some fantastic racing to look forward too

p.s because l had a fiver on a 12/1 shot on Monday l'm actually £3 up on the week.... so far

We have friends going tomorrow assuming it’s still on after today’s government meeting.
We are having lunch with them Sunday so I hope they don’t bring anything back with them 😬

Still better than a bag of carrots from Darzet and cloudy scrumpy that'll give you the squits for a week

Well tomorrow is the final day at what has been one of the best Cheltenham's l've seen for years, some great racing with thrill and spills and a couple of "if only's"

Sadly l think tomorrow is going to be the last bet l have for whatever time it takes Covid19 to sort it's self out.....stay healthy my friends.

It's Gold Cup tomorrow and a more open race we haven't seen for years, l certainly wouldn't put a line through any of the runners.

Whilst it could be said "Kemboy" hasn't run up to its mark this season, I'm reluctant to swerve this one because l think it's the class horse in the race.

As advised at the start of the week "Mohaayed" is my nap bet and because my other (best bet) selection "Barra" is a none runner l will have £25 win going on.

Selections

2.10 Mohaayed £25 win
3.30 Kemboy £10 win
4.50 Capeland £ 8 win £2 place
5.30 Umbrigandp £ 8 win £2 place

50p win lucky 15.... £7.50

Total stake
£62.50

Sir Merv.......last year l won in excess of £1500.

On August 4th 2019 l started with a betting float of £500......without this week's betting l had £1345 (£500 inclusive) in my betting kitty.

I've been up front with my stakes, wins and losses.........can't be fairer than that

keep smiling

Well that's it folks, a mixed bag on the betting front but as they say... any profit at Cheltenham ain't a bad result.

Total staked £155.50

Total returns £177.50.

Total profit £22.00........plus £60 if you count none Cheltenham bet.

Till next year

Keep smiling
