Don't you think the energy companies are a really sneaky lot, my latest energy bill came today, the last one was on 12th Jan, so you think the next one ought to be 12th April. But my monthly DD payment goes to then on the 28th of each month, so this one had only had 2 months payments made, so the outstanding balance was inflated. I am no expert but I would bet that the algorithm to work out a sensible new monthly DD only looks at the balance and expected consumption to determine what it should be.
But my new DD will be based on my spreadsheet to determine how much I pay, and woe betide anybody who rings me to query my decision.

I eventually received my new cruise documents after transferring my April 2020 cruise payment to a new booking in Feb 2021, well a replacement one actually as I had to cancel the original booking to make room for this. However I was pleasantly surprised to find that the original deposit on the Feb booking wasn't lost but converted to a FCC which was used as part payment against the new booking, along with the transferred credit.
So with the extra OBC I received vs the original booking, I think I am about £100 better off, not quite as much as I would have been if I had waited 24hrs, when I could have had a FCC of 125%, but I am happy, or I will be if the cruise goes ahead.

Great bit of kit though. I opted for a Makita electric chainsaw in the end as I have some heavy duty logs to cut, or did.

Naga Munchetty is normally quite easy to watch and listen to, except when she gets on her high horse.
I remember when she took over presenting a revamped Working Lunch some time after Adrian Chiles left, she never gelled with Adam Shaw, who I always quite liked, and poor Adam seemed to be sidelined quite quickly afterwards, perhaps she was just showing her ruthless streak.
