There is a Cruise ship docked in Dover Dock ( Kent) as well as a P&O ferry this morning. Box of keefy Chocolates if you can name the cruise ship.

Looks like things are improving at Blackpool

You’re too kind ;)

I am a great fan of the Marine Traffic app and website. In my factory unit at Hamble I can often hear the ships’ whistle warnings as they pass down Southampton Water and in January and on special occasions I can hear the fireworks up in Southampton Docks so it’s useful to identify the culprits. From 1990 for a few years I had a clear view across to Fawley and could see the passing traffic but that stopped when they built a block of units in front of us.

Now here’s another question for the day:

There are seven well-loved cruise ships anchored in Weymouth Bay just waiting to be named.

I’ll have to pass on the naming ceremony Barney as my cruising experiences are very limited. I have had a bit of fun with the Towyn webcam…I phoned up my sister and asked her to drop in…unfurtunatly my best mate did a moony

I believe they are all P&O except Oceana, and Cunards QE and QM2.

Yes indeed. They seem to get left out for an exercise run occasionally, back and forwards to Southampton and the anchorage in Sandown Bay.

The sun is shinning in Blackpool…it would be even brighter if they were to clean the webcam lens
