Well you’re not going to believe this…. I went out to tuck the girls up last night and in doing so had a peek into their nest box only to find horrible Susie sharing her box with Molly…poor Maude looked quite put out.

Re: Bird watching
Considering the sleeping arrangement, I would say it’s more likely to be Bombay Mix

Re: Bird watching
Just a quick update on the "Birds".....as mentioned previously the house sparrows have fledged....that is a part from on which seems reluctant to leave the box....The others left a week ago.
The crows have fledged as we saw two, plus mom and dad yesterday.
The house martins which disappeared for several days are back and sitting.
The Robins are still around but we've only seen two baby's
As for the girls.....well they have all imprinted themselves on my wife.....If you could see haw they chase my wife around the garden it would have you in stitches. Molly and Maude haven't started to pay their way yet but hopefully it won't be too long before all three of us can have an egg each.

This was featured on tv this morning…. it’s a bit like watching paint dry at the moment, but she is sitting on a chick so will get more interesting over the coming weeks.

So, if I buy half a dozen ' Medium ' sized eggs they will become ' Large(r) ' if left for a week or two

I once had a box of eggs (6) and two of them had triple yolks
