Sorry but I was unable to locate any lies at all, during PMQs , please clarify.
In the past I've gone to great lengths to give information to you, even providing links to back up what I'm saying. But you have refused to even look at the information that I've provided, so I'm not going to expend my energy on a fruitless task.
Sorry.
ps .... why, without any evidence at all, are you now accusing me of not reading your links ?

Re: Current Affairs
I’ve just checked the relevant clip from PMQ. He didn’t say fully functional. He asked for the name of a country with a functional contract tracing app ‘because there isn’t one’ ( which is the lie, doubling down from when he said it yesterday)towny44 wrote: 24 Jun 2020, 18:12Not quite true Gill, he said no country has a fully functioning app, and if you listened carefully to Matt Hancock and Dido Harding when they announced that we had dropped our own app, they gave an explanation of the deficiencies of both the iPhone and Android apps, and why they were joining forces with both to try and resolve said issues.Gill W wrote: 24 Jun 2020, 16:13Johnson has lied twice about no country having a track and trace apptowny44 wrote: 24 Jun 2020, 13:29Boris missed a golden opportunity for a superb backhand return of Sir Kier continually harping on about the track and trace only finding a small percentage of those the ONS say are infected, when no system could find those who do not request a test. Similarly his insistence that we desperately need the app to help us identify all those who are infected, when again the app can only load data from those who had a positive test.
Also he stressed how other countries like Germany are successfully using the app and crowed how they had 12 million downloads, forgive me but isn't the population of Germany somewhere around 90 million.
Also, last thing I read, Apple were saying they have had no contact from HM Government, so Hancock not being entirely truthful either?

There is much truth in what you say Mob and it could be said Enoch was giving us a window into the future? (Re: highlighted text). Future governments need to get a grip and redress the imbalances in society but also tackle the abuses that have arisen from it.Manoverboard wrote: 24 Jun 2020, 17:32That is basically true but due to full employment going right through the late 50's and 60's there were obvious signs of greater tolerance and co-operation one with the other, we were all on a learning curve for sure. The real issues arose when the flood gates opened and immigrants flooded in from the Caribbean in particular because they had genuine fears of losing their British Passports. With them came the ‘ Yardies ‘ from Kingston, Jamaica or so I was told by a couple of Barbadian Police Officers. This coincided with drug and gang warfare and is the underlying reason why Caribbean folk continue to have a bad image to this day. The Government at that time were extremely weak and should have introduced controls to prevent entry without a position of employment or a skill that would lead to employment but they were totally indecisive and failed to manage the developing situation as should have been the case. Labour were in power during that period and their incompetence eventually led to Enoch Powell’s ‘ Rivers of Blood ‘ speech.Gill W wrote: 24 Jun 2020, 16:35I was thinking along the same lines. At the time the gentlemen of this forum were growing up in the 50's, black people were still seeing notices in lodging house windows saying 'no blacks' (and no Irish, of course)
The experiences of a white British male of that time are going to be very different to anybody who came from an ethnic minority.

How do we know that the Apple spokesman has been in touch with all the possible points of contact, to make such a sweeping statement.

TBH I had a quick look and it was a bit like handbags at full stretch between the police and the rioters, in fact if the police had just stood there without keeping advancing and banging on the barriers, it's quite likely the rioters would have got bored.

The videos were the mildest ones I could find and without the accompaniment of foul language, as I didn’t want to offend anyone.
I wish I hadn’t bothered, as it appears it’s perfectly acceptable for a load of tanked up, fat, white, middle aged ‘football lads’ to kick off in the streets of London at lunch time.
Who’d have thought it?

I don’t think anybody has said that the trouble at the end of the London BLM protest a couple of weeks ago was ok. But I will say that some people can only see the trouble, not the peaceful protest earlierMervyn and Trish wrote: 24 Jun 2020, 21:48No it's not acceptable. I was meaning the Apple spokesperson not you Gill. However you did not advise the difference between functional and fully functioning, IMO there is none, so Boris might not be lying if we are to accept that no app is as yet functioning fully.Gill W wrote: 24 Jun 2020, 21:54I didn’t make a sweeping statement, I was saying what I had read and and was asking a (rhetorical) questiontowny44 wrote: 24 Jun 2020, 18:40Is there a difference between functional, and fully functioning?Gill W wrote: 24 Jun 2020, 18:28

Noted ... but I said " It's easy to select videos that back up one's own view, I'll not bother."
Which, when translated, means that I would not personally bother to search for selective videos to back up my opinions unless they were from a source that was deemed to be trustworthy, reliable and factual .... like the BBC
As an aside I do not believe that ' Twitter ' fits the above criteria.
ps ... Your Post 4708 is a pack of lies making an incorrect assumption to suit your own views

However you have to hand it to them:
Largely peaceful protest 27 (officers injured), load of tanked up, fat, white, middle aged ‘football lads’ to kick off in the streets of London at lunch time.10
I say again. None of the violence against the police was acceptable, and neither was any of the graffiti or damage. Personally I found the antics on the Cenotaph quite sickening especially when you consider it is a memorial to the fallen, large numbers of whom were BAME.
